Barnstorming

A great little barn in the hills behind Keld. The light, walls and frosty morning drew me in to taking this shot.

Ribblehead Viaduct

After beautiful weather all morning in Richmond, as we drove across Wensleydale, the weather worsened, so much that we encountered small amounts of rain after leaving Hawes. Still, the viaduct is an impressive sight, and gave me some ideas for shooting when the conditions were better.
A couple of crops, as I couldn't decide which I preferred.

Riponian Stages Rally 2013

So.....
The first motorsport event of 2013. It was a beautiful morning, I had a great drive across to the North York Moors in the sunshine and low mist. A good entry list, some interesting stages and track conditions ranging from snow to mud to stone made for a thoroughly entertaining day.

Lady Hill

One of my new favourite spots. A small hill in Wensleydale with a great cluster of trees sat on top. I have had a couple of trips out to photograph it so far, but haven't yet got the shot I am hoping for. Still, it is not a problem to go back here, as its a great drive and a lovely spot for a walk.

Searching for Booze

Looking across the valley from the northern edge of Fremington, in the direction of a little village called Booze. I thought the isolated barn and the disrupted land formations made for an interesting shot.

Cauldron Falls Rework

A run through in Silver Efex for this shot from Cauldron (West Burton) Falls in Wensleydale. I am thinking of doing a series of these Black and White waterfall shots which I might get printed to hang in the house.

Last Light on Fremington Edge

After heavy cloud covered us for most of the day walking around Reeth, as we were heading back to town, the sun broke through momentarily and let a few beams illuminate the fields on the lead up to Fremington Edge.

Mountain Panoramas

A few shots from the hard drive on which I tried out some panorama crops
