Scottish Rally 2013

A trip up to Scotland for the third time this year, this time to the Western side. I had been warned about the midges, but came very unprepared for the swarms of midges that were as thick as clouds. Very oppressive but the cars soon dispersed the clouds. Quite a good field of cars, but the most entertaining to watch were the BRC field, absolutely throwing their Citroen DS3s about the place.

BTCC - Croft

Had an enjoyable day out at Croft circuit, despite another routine motorsport soaking from the British summer. I never feel particularly inspired to shoot at Croft, and despite getting the camera out for a couple of races, it was really enjoyable to just sit back and enjoy some racing. Still,  few shots from the day just as a record.

Severn Valley Stages Rally 2013

My first trip to Wales in over ten years I think, with a welcome that brought back memories of the ridiculous amounts of rainfall that pours down over the land of the double L.

A great line up of cars, quick forest stages and some very brief burst of sunshine made for a great day out.

Dukeries Rally 2013

From the tarmac and high speeds last week in the Scottish Borders, to the dust and sideways action of the Skoda Dukeries Rally this weekend.
A great day out, taking in both the Sherwood Pines and Blidworth stages, and a great entry list.
I have never been to a rally so dusty, but it gave some good gloss for the photos, and required a 2 hour cleaning session of the kit to bring it back to normality.
