Despite the complete lack of help from road signs, we just about managed to make it to the stage in time. Very narrow roads meant it was a nightmare to get about, but the sound echoing in the canyons was phenomenal.

Cascades De La Clue De St Auban

A thunderous waterfall that boomed in the canyon and did a good job of competing with the Rally for the noisiest feature of the day.

Alri

Unusually, I made it up before sunrise to try and catch the good light. Unfortunately, Alri was not in the mood to pose much.

Monday Morning

Never one for a boring start to a week, my morning has been mainly concerned with the chasing and capture (2x) of a goat that broke in to the property over night.

I'm really enjoying taking these type of shots at the moment. Need to find some more interesting places to try it out, but I think I am improving a little at least.

We took a drive out on Sunday for a coffee up at Ste Agnes, also to take a walk around the grounds of the ruined Medieval Chateau.

A weird, but beautiful car I passed a couple of times over the weekend on the journey between Sospel and Menton. Not too sure about the colour, but wow!

Flamingos of the Camargue

The main reason behind our trip to the Camargue last weekend was to go Flamingo spotting. We are never usually very lucky on wildlife spotting trips, but this time it worked out all right.

Sad news for the 100th post on the blog. Unfortunately, Toby passed away yesterday, he made it to a grand old 16 years of age, and had a good life. I'll struggle to ever meet another cat quite like him. X
