Colla Della Maddalena

My dad looking puzzled as the light fades over the Colle Della Maddalena in temperatures of -15, as we slowly made our way over the col and across the border.

Star Trails

Tried the remote shutter out with the 5d for the first time to capture some star trails. Unfortunately the wild boar stormed the property halfway through, so the headlights from the Land Rover are shown in the photo.
Plus the tripod moved slightly after the first few frames. Ugh
Oh, and the idea of having a tree in the foreground didn't look anywhere near as good as I hoped.
But I like the effect of the stars, and will just have to find a more interesting foreground subject, and I think this might be cool.

Jumping Horses

First attempt at shooting horses in any capacity, seems they are a lot slower than rally cars.
Cici the horse is absolutely massive, it was great to see her in action.

Stray

A couple of stray dogs landed with us yesterday. Had to take a couple of shots to put on the Lost poster. They're quite cute really, just have BAGS full of energy.
