Took a drive over the border to San Remo, primarily for a scout round the Parc Ferme, but also to try and hunt down a really good pizza restaurant (and it was REALLY good).
All the cars are set up on the seafront in preparation for the start of the Rally tomorrow. A slight buzz in the air, but not enough to overwhelm the general chaos of Italy.
None of the traffic lights in the whole of San Remo were working. Italian traffic is usually pretty dire, but rush hour on a thursday evening, with no guiding lights, meant driving around was a real bag of snakes.
Anyway. Managed to get a programme and maps of the route, which should help out over the weekend. Some cars having a blast around the town later on, sounded pretty throaty. I look forward to seeing them giving it socks over the weekend.
Oh, and did I mention, the Pizza was EPIC
