Despite what should be a routine 8 hour journey back to Bali, we ended up in heated arguments before leaving Java due to some lovely lying transport office, by the time we got to the ferry port, we thought it should all be ok from here. 7 hours later at the same ferry port, we were still none the wiser as to why we had not left yet. No-one seemed to have any idea. So we tracked down the only open hotel in Gilimanuk and got some well earned sleep for the night.
First thing the following morning and straight onto a ferry. Relieved to be back on Bali, we stopped by the side of the road for a drink, even some evil monkeys turning up could not spoil our sense of relief.
