A couple of images from a sunny Sunday at the coast. The pier at Saltburn by the Sea is one I had visited previously, but had never taken the time to shoot. Despite going with the mindset of taking some ten stop shots, I think i preferred the medium speed shutter on these, to retain the detail in the water. Balancing the exposure under the pier was quite tricky, as the dynamic range between the dark shadows, and the colour in the sky were gulfs apart. Looking forward to more pier shooting this week with a couple of friends up at Hartlepool (another new location for me).
